Some frog predators are: snakes, foxes, raccoon, lizards, and hawks. These are only some animals but there are so many more out there . Like wise, there are many animals that frogs prey on. Some animals that frogs prey on are: flies, insects, small mammals, smaller frogs, and fish. As you can see on the picture on the left, the frogs are number three in the ecological pyramid. Most of the frogs are carnivores. There are about 4,740 species worldwide. In the United States there is said to be about 90 species. Since 1980 about 120 amphibian species have disappeared. |
Difference of frogsDo you want a colorful frog? Think again. You can tell the difference between a frog in their color. The colorful frogs like in the picture shown above are poisonous. They are colorful to attract peoples and animals eye.
